Restored balance. Lasting health.
Our mission
At Atisama we’re pioneering splice-switching oligonucleotides (SSO) that return gene transcription pathways to their optimal form, restoring the molecular balance from disease towards lasting health.
Our science
Validated target selection
We have chosen targets that cannot be optimally engaged using common modalities, such as siRNA, small molecules or mAb, ensuring that we have the right drug, for the right target.
Rebalancing Therapeutics
Using splice-switching oligonucleotides (SSO), we are restoring balance by down-regulating disease-driving isoforms and upregulating their protective counterparts; a dual-action mechanism unique to the SSO modality.
Lasting Health
We are focussed on the discovery and development of novel therapeutics that harness the naturally occurring gene transcription mechanisms to improve the lives of people living with chronic inflammatory diseases.
